This extraordinary efficiency is the result of matching a very high quality single driver with an extensively developed box.
The advantages of a single driver construction go for:
• Null crossover distortion and signal degradation.
• Lack of coherence problems, so common in muti way loudspeakers, as a consequence of different driver colorations.
• Very fast transients response, due to the horn loaded electro acoustical interface and a very light driver's cone of just 2.7g.
• High sensibility of 94 dB/W, allowing the use of a wide set of valve and solid-state amplifiers
The box is built in base of double walls of 18mm MDF, massively loaded with seashore stones for sturdiness and freedom of resonance and fine wood veneers. High gloss and satin finish available from Italian high quality coats.
A very careful construction, very tight tolerances and the use of noble materials like in any musical instrument, renders a loudspeaker that not only sounds extraordinary well, but also blends its own beauty with the furniture in any home.
